What’s new with HPE OneView 5.0?
HPE OneView enables you to set up a foundation of modern data center by transforming storage, servers, and networking into software-defined infrastructure. This tool has a programmatic, software-defined approach to managing infrastructure with competent automated workflo, a modern dashboard, and a complex partner ecosystem.
The new HPE OneView 5.0 provides an updated user interface, a common look and feel across HPE management tools like HPE OneView Global Dashboard. It also supports the HPE Superdome Flex.
This product offers an innovative concept for managing firmware compliance for all HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers, HPE BladeSystems and HPE Synergy. Once new firmware baseline (Service Pack for ProLiant) is loaded, a new firmware compliance view is generated on the HPE OneView dashboard. Moreover HPE OneView compares the installed firmware versions of the managed hardware with the new component versions in the added SPP and generates a compliance report. The firmware compliance dashboard enables the users to manage the firmware updates based on their schedules and quickly decide what firmware isn’t compliant.

DL and Apollo Servers now have automated SAN Storage volume provisioning
